Here at the Ben Johnson Cowboy museum, we focus on the western heritage of Osage County, Oklahoma, which in our opinion rivals any western area in the world, including Deadwood, SD & Tombstone, AZ. We boast the birthplace and home of Ben "Son" Johnson, the World's Greatest Cowboy and the only man to have ever won an Academy Award and a Rodeo World Championship. We also boast over 25 other World Champions from every discipline of equine sports: Rodeo, Race Horses, Polo, Jockeys and many others. We're also home to the World's Greatest Cowboy Craftsmen of Bits, Spurs, & Saddle Makers & home to some of the most ICONIC Ranches in the history of the world, including Drummond, Mullendore and Chapman-Barnard Ranches. Browse our World Class Art Gallery featuring the works of Award Winning artists such as John D. Free, Jim Hamilton, and so many more.
